President congratulates women’s cricket team

New Delhi, May 11 (IANS) President Pratibha Patil congratulated Indian women’s cricket team for winning the Asia Cup Sunday. “The president congratulated the the Indian women’s cricket team and captain Mithali Raj for winning the Asia Cup,” an official statement said.
The Indian team beat Sri Lanka by 177 runs in the finals at Kurunagela in the island nation, lifting the cup for the fourth successive time.
