Preseason Preview: Derek Anderson vs Vince Young

derek2 Aug 23 (THAINDIAN NEWS) It would appear as it will be a tough decision when it comes to choosing between Derek Anderson and Vince Young, since Anderson is starting his preseason off with the Cardinals while Matt Leinhart is still the fan favorite for quarterback, and Young has been leading the scoring drives.

Derek Anderson is playing for the Arizona Cardinals in the number 3 jersey as a quarterback. He is twenty seven years old and six feet six inches tall, weighing in at 230 pounds. He has six years experience under his belt, with 51 touchdowns, 7083 pass yards, and 45r interceptions. Anderson was born in Portland Oregon and attended Oregon State University. He was drafted in 2005.

Vince Young will be sporting the number ten jersey for the Tennessee Titans. He is also playing in the quarterback position, and is twenty seven years old. Standing six feet five inches, Young weighs 233 pounds.

Young has five years of experience, and forty four touchdowns in his career so far. He can boast of 6843 pass yards with 39 interceptions. He recently completed five of six passes for the seventy eight yards, and threw an interception in the first preseason game, which was against Seattle. Young was born in Houston, Texas and was drafted in 2006. While Anderson has a salary of a whopping $6,450,000, Young’s comes in a little lower at $2,167,280.
