Dec.19, (THAINDIAN NEWS) Speculations are running high regarding the cause of death of Cincinnati Bengals wide receiver Chris Henry. Although, it has been revealed that the player died after he slipped from the back of a truck while following his fiancee, the details regarding the actual cause of the death has still not been clarified. However, certain reports have surfaced which claim that the young player had threatened to commit suicide just minutes before he fell from the vehicle.

The entire incident precipitated following an altercation that the player had with his fiancee Loleini Tonga, with whom he was scheduled to get married in the month of March next year. Following the fight, his fiancee drove away in a truck and the wide receiver went after her by getting into the back of the vehicle. Reportedly, while explaining the circumstances that led to the tragic incident, neighbors residing in the adjoining area has revealed that as the girl was driving away in the vehicle, the 26 year old player precariously held the back of the truck, while he asked his fiancee to stop. Supposedly, he even went on to say that if she did not stop he would jump off and kill himself. Few moments later, the police found him in the road with major injuries and was rushed to the Carolinas Medical Centre, where he passed away on early Thursday morning.

Meanwhile, Charlotte police have also expressed that investigation is being carried out to know the circumstances leading to the incident, although intrinsic details regarding the cause of Chris Henry’s death is still not available.
