New York, Feb 10 (THAINDIAN NEWS) Michael Vick should now know that not everyone in the stands is there to just watch a game; some will root for his injury.

Pitcher and dog lover, Mark Buehrle has told MLB.com that he and his wife were rooting for Vick to be injured from the stands whenever the Eagles played. He said he was disgusted by Vick’s treatment of dogs and would love some poetic justice in this case.

MLB.com realized that the comments may be too harsh so it was taken off shortly afterwards. Before they could however do it some people had already copied it.

Buehlre was quoted by the website as saying “(Vick) had a great year and a great comeback, but there were times where we watched the game and I know it’s bad to say, but there were times where we hope he gets hurt. Everything you’ve done to these dogs, something bad needs to happen to these guys.”

Buehlre is a great lover of dogs and he has been involved in the rescue of several dogs. He has three dogs himself and he couldn’t stand the animals being treated badly.

Vick was convicted of running dogfighting ring. He has since served his term in a federal prison.
