New York, Nov 15 (THAINDIAN NEWS) Phoenix Suns star Steve Nash is all set to divorce his wife Alejandra Amarilla. The divorce couldn’t have come as a worse time as his wife Alejandra just gave birth to their son Matteo Nash. However the decision doesn’t shock many people as the couple has already been living apart from quite some time. The couple has been married for the last 5 years and they have been dating for 4 years prior to that. They are also parents to their 6-year-old twin daughters – Lola and Bella. As young parents, both of them are committed to raising their children in a healthy manner, despite the divorce.

Steve Nash himself commented that the divorce and the birth of his son was a “bittersweet moment”. He said in a statement that, “I am very thankful and excited that we have a new son, Matteo Nash. Alejandra and the baby are doing fine. But this is a bittersweet moment for my wife and I; after five years, we are now in the process of dissolving our marriage.”

Currently Nash plays for the Phoenix Suns as a point guard and he has also been honored with the award for the most valuable player by the National Basketball Association twice.
