Philadelphia Eagles Vs Washington Redskins Match Was In Favor Of The Former

Nov 16, (THAINDIAN NEWS) The Philadelphia Eagles Vs Washington Redskins match took place yesterday at 8:30 pm ET, at the FedEx Field in Landover, Maryland. The match was quite an exciting one, as the Philadelphia Eagles had a complete sweeping victory over the Washington Redskins with a score of 59-28. This sharp difference in the score left the Redskins humiliated, while the winners were all set to celebrate the spectacular performance of Michael Vick.
If there was someone in the field, who was able to gain the maximum reverence and applaud from the audience, then it was Michael Vick. He threw for 333 yards, completed 20-of-28 passes, and ran eight times for 80 rushing yards. The Eagles now stand at a score of 6-3, while the Redskins stand at 4-5. The Eagles scored 28,17, 14 and 0 in the first second third and fourth quarter of the game, while the Redskins scored 0,14, 7 and 7 respectively. Jerome Harrison of The Eagles ran 109 yards with 1 touchdown and DeSean Jackson ran 98 yards with yet another touchdown, thereby contributing to his team’s victory. Where as Philadelphia’s Passing rating was 150.7, Washington’s was only 69.4. The winners made 38 carries, for 260 with an average of 6.8. On the other hand, Washington made 18 carries for 105, with an average of 5.8. The only two players from the Redskins, who made a good attempt were, Keiland Williams and Donovan Jamal McNabb. The former threw four touchdowns, and added another 32-yard touchdown run in the fourth quarter. The latter completed 17-of-31 for 295 yards with two touchdowns and three interceptions. However, there performance came up in the fourth quarter, when it was already too late.
The Eagles now stand at a score of 6-3. It thereby moved into a first position tie with the New York Giants, in the NFC East. The two teams will face each other on Sunday, to yield a more exciting match.
