peyton-manningIndianapolis Colts is now a favorite for the Super Bowl on February 7,2010. They have made some spectacular performances against the Baltimore Ravens in the playoff game and restricted their chances of victory. Though all the players of Indianapolis Colts played well, it was Peyton Manning, who helped the team to clinch a much awaited victory.

As per the reports, Peyton Manning had scored two touchdowns on the game and shattered all the hopes of Baltimore Ravens to qualify for the Super Bowl. The stupendous game of Peyton Manning once again established him as a game-winner for Colts and ended all criticisms regarding his absence before this big game. He had not only stopped all critics but also dismissed the myth that it is not possible for a player to score a winning strike after resuming the game after bye-week.

In a post-game interview, confident Peyton Manning referred to his rest period and said, “I thought being healthy was important”. It appears that he has become stronger after the prolonged absence from the field. Fans expect that he will retain the energy and the excellent form in the coming games of the season to help Indianapolis Colts clinch victory in the national championship game. While the offense line up of the Indianapolis Colts increased their score, their defense played a strategic game and did not allow the Ravens to play in an aggressive form. The final result of the game, 20-3 reflects that offense players of Baltimore Ravens were unable to penetrate the strong defense wall of the Indianapolis Colts and ended their season with a huge defeat.
