A recent news regarding the USC team indicates that might go for a coach hunt as their coach and mentor Pete Carroll, might resign. As per the reports, Pete Carroll would replace Coach Jim Mora of Seattle Seahawks, who had been recently fired from the club.

However, the officials of the team have not yet made any comment on these reports. The Seattle Seahawks officials also have not made any official declaration about the hiring of new coach and have tried to kept the agreement secret until everything is finalized. Though there is no official confirmation, a close source of the Seattle Seahawks has informed that they are planning to appoint Pete Carroll as the new coach. He also indicated that Pete Carroll would also take up the responsibility of the president as Tim Ruskell, the former president and general manager of the team had resigned.

According to the sources, Pete Carroll is close to an agreement for five years on $7million annual salary. It is quite a lucrative offer for the 58 year old coach but he has not confirmed the reports circulating about his new job. As for UFC is concerned, Pete Carroll had improved the performance level of the team to such an extent, it would be a tough job to find a better replacement of the coach.
