percyDec. 14, (THAINDIAN NEWS) The Minnesota Vikings had to embark in their last game against Cincinnati with a number of their players missing. A lot of the key team members had been benched because of various reasons. The ones who could not be included in the roster were receiver and kick returner Percy Harvin, who could not play because of migraine problems, Antoine Winfield, the corner-back, for a foot injury and Tyrell Johnson, the starting safety, as he is recuperating from a concussion. Other than this, the team also started without Karl Paymah, who is the special teams player and the reserve corner-back.

The biggest loss for the Minnesota Vikings came in the form of Percy Harvin. He had already missed three consecutive days of practice before his name was taken off the roster. He had been suffering from migraines for years, but has always returned to play without allowing the illness to bog him down. However, this was the first time that he had to go without practice for almost a complete week on account of it.

Although Percy Harvin has always proved himself to be a tough player, this time, there had been some concern in the team regarding his recurring ailment. The concern was partly because the player is talented and tough at the same time, and partly on account of the fact that migraines can recur unpredictably and cannot ever be completely cured. The Vikings are worried about the frequent bouts of migraines that he suffers from, specially because he is one of the key players in the team.
