London, Nov 21 (ANI): The famous No 10 shirt worn by legendary footballer Pele’s yellow during the 1970 World Cup final has been sold for 66,500 pounds at auction on Tuesday.
The soccer legend, 67, wore the short-sleeved top to score the first goal in Brazil’s 4-1 win over Italy.
The match, watched by 107,000 fans in Mexico, is regarded as the best ever-final match to be played.
Pele changed shirts at the half time and presented it to manager Mario Zagallo, whose son sold it.
The second-half jersey fetched 157,750 pounds in 2002, The Mirror reported. (ANI)
