PCA wins BCCI overall performance award
December 5th, 2009 - 11:40 pm ICT by IANS ( Leave a comment )Mohali, Dec 5 (IANS) Punjab Cricket Association (PCA) has won the ‘Best Overall Performance’ award by the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI), an official said Saturday.
The award will be presented at a function in Mumbai Sunday.
“The performance of PCA has been remarkable in various tournaments. This achievement is the direct result of the efforts of PCA to promote cricket throughout the state in all age-groups,” said Sushil Kapoor, spokesperson of PCA, here Saturday evening.
The award is based on overall performance of the state teams in various age-group competitions held under the aegis of BCCI.
