Paul Pierce Steers Boston Celtics To Win Game Against New York Knicks

Dec16, (THAINDIAN NEWS) Paul Pierce was undoubtedly the star player of last night’s match between the Boston Celtics and the New York Knicks held at the Madison Square Garden, New York. Yes he was the one who saved the Boston Celtics from losing the game out to the New York Knicks. Yes the situation on the basket ball court was a close one and had almost ensured a defeat for the Celtics had not Paul Pierce come to their rescue with his last minute tie-breaker jumper. Ultimately the score came up in favor of the Boston Celtics ending in a 118-116.
Those present at the Madison Square Garden witnessed how both the teams rendered a tough fight to each other. An eyewitness claims that the it was evident that how much the New York Knicks were desperately eying for a victory last night. Had the New York Knicks won last night’ match it would have come to end in a straight eighth win for them. However, their dreams were crushed by the rivals and after winning the game the Boston Celtics are rejoicing after their eleventh win. Even though the Knicks gave their best shot, yet could not succumb to the last moment shock that Paul Pierce gave them.
Even Amare Stoudemire from the New York Knicks rendered an amazing performance whose three pointer at the buzzer unfortunately failed to rescue his team. Paul Pierce had shot the tie-breaker jumper at the last remaining 0.4 seconds. Paul Pierce scored 32 pints last night whereas team mate Ray Allen also scored 26 points. It was a hard time for the Knicks fans who saw their team losing out to the opponents at their home ground.
