Dec 5, (THAINDIAN NEWS) Paul Daley evoked a good amount of laughter among those present at the press conference which was held after the Strikeforce fight on Saturday night was over. The 37 year old welterweight who had knocked out Scott Smith that night at St. Louis, Missouri, made the statement at the conference that he really did not pay much heed to Scott Smith who had made comparisons about Paul Daley saying that he is an underdog.

Those present at the press conference saw Paul Daley resorting to the popular Hollywood action flick “Rocky” saying that neither was Scott Smith Rocky nor was the fight ring the set of a movie. He claimed that he had hit his rival so that he himself could stay hit. Yes this is what the fighter exactly said. Now aren’t all this bound to stir some laughter for those who were there to interview him last night? It was evident that Paul Daley did much regret much that his knock out came up a little late, as a result of which it was devoid of the chances for an entry in the MMA Awards, when he said that he does not fetch awards. What he is interested in is to collect his paychecks! Now that was a confession that shot straight from the heart. He even labeled the MMA Awards as some sort of foolery.

When Strkeforce CEO Scott Coker about the next fight which Paul Daley wants to have with KJ Noons, Paul Daley was seen answering on the CEO’ behalf that Scott Coker does not like the fight because he prefers KJ Noons. This was Paul Daley’s third straight win, and first for Strikeforce.
