Panesar joins S. African franchise Highveld Lions
October 6th, 2009 - 11:57 am ICT by ANILondon, Oct.6 (ANI): Out of favour England left arm spinner Monty Panesar has joined South African franchise Highveld Lions.
The spinner, 27, hopes the move will help him regain his England spot, the Sun reports.
Panesar was not on the list of centrally contracted players named by the ECB last month, but still has set his sights on making England’s tour of South Africa this winter. (ANI)
