Pakistan beat Zimbabwe by seven wickets
March 15th, 2011 - 12:21 am ICT by IANSPallekele (Sri Lanka), March 14 (IANS) Pakistan defeated Zimbabwe by seven wickets via the Duckworth Lewis Method in a rain-hit World Cup Group A match at the Pallekele International Cricket Stadium here Monday.
Pakistan achieved the rain revised target of 162 runs in 34.1 overs after Asad Shafiq remained unbeaten on 78. Zimbabwe made 151 for seven in 39.4 overs before rain forced an early end to their innings.
