Green Bay, Wis., Dec. 08, (THAINDIAN NEWS) Monday football match between Green Bay Packers and Baltimore Ravens scheduled on the home ground of Packers ended with Ravens’ loss. Green Bay Packers kept their winning streak and after clinching victory in four consecutive games, they have retained their chances to be in the playoff matches. The ultimate score of the match, 27-14 was in favor of the Packers team yet none of the teams had displayed a praiseworthy performance that the fans were expecting to see in this match.
Fans were let down by the several penalties that took place in the match and records indicate that the match between Ravens and Packers made the second highest records of penalty yards in NFL history. The reports of the match states, for three hundred and ten yards, the players had made twenty-three penalties. Though the penalties were really disappointing for the fans, the victory of Packers finally cheered up their supporters, who came to the arena to watch the match.
Some of the players put across a good game in the match that made Green Bay Packers win. Packers’ quarterback, Aaron Rodgers deserves to be mentioned as his performance in the match helped Packers to clinch a victory upon the Ravens. He had scored ‘three touchdown passes’ in the match that added to the score of his team. Out of three touchdowns, he threw one to wide receiver Donald Driver and two to tight end Jermichael Finley. The points added by Aaron Rodgers made it difficult for the Baltimore Ravens to make a comeback in the game and resulted in their loss. Packers, who are now in a four game winning streak is expected to maintain their consistency in the upcoming matches.
