July 27, (THAINDIAN NEWS) After serving around three and a half years of prison term, former Ohio State University football player Maurice Clarett is back in Ohio State University. The player who was drafted during the third-round of the 2005 NFL Draft by the Denver Broncos is back to the school where he was enrolled before his prison term. The Ohio State University spokesman, Jim Lynch issued a statement on Monday mentioning that the player has been readmitted by the College of Education and Human Ecology where he was pursuing his degree back in 2006.
The statement issued by Jim Lynch said that the University had granted Maurice Clarett a re-entry so that the former footballer can pursue his degree. It also mentioned that the player had already started attending classes from Monday.
