ohiooregonCalifornia, Jan. 02, (THAINDIAN NEWS) The New Year 2010 has brought lots of fun for the football lovers. Five bowl games were scheduled for yesterday and Rose Bowl in Pasadena was the most interesting. This year, Oregon Ducks and the Ohio State Buckeyes met for the 96th Bowl game, to gift their supporters a real pulse racing game. It was the Buckeyes, who dominated the entire game and won it ultimately.

The Ohio State Buckeyes had a balanced squad and played an aggressive game from the beginning. Devin Barclay and Brandon Saine had displayed an outstanding game from the start and gave the team the lead they needed to win the game. The early lead of Ohio was a great challenge for the Oregon State team and they could not overcome the hurdle. As per the reports, in the end of the first quarter, they have recorded a score of 10-0, that gave them the control of the game.

Buckeyes, who has taken the lead from the first quarter, maintained it in the second quarter and tied the score at 16-10 by the end of the second quarter. Though the Ducks tried to equalize the score of the opponents and turn the result of the game in their favor, they failed as the Buckeyes had taken a huge lead from the first quarter. The final score at the end of the game was 26-17, that indicated Buckeyes as the winner. It was clearly revealed throughout that the Oregon State Buckeyes have never allowed the Ducks to get a dominating position in the game and truly deserved the win they earned.
