Officials Considering About Pac 10 Expansion

pac10Feb 10, (THAINDIAN NEWS) The college football season ended a month ago and now the officials are considering some new plans to increase the thrill of the coming season. The college athletic conference games of Pac-10, which attracts thousands of football lovers every year might come with some surprises in the coming years. As per the reports, Larry Scott, the commissioner of Pac-10 in an interview stated that they are conducting some analysis and evolution of the Pac-10 conference and might consider about expanding the team in the next 6 to 12 months.

The news of Pac-10 expansion has received the attention of the college football fans and they have become interested to know the details of the news. According to the reports, the officials have started to focus on the evolution and expansion of the conference for several reasons. It has been reported that the television deals of the league will remain effective only till 2011-2012 academic year and once the deal ends the officials can consider about making some changes in the conference.

The Pac-10 conference games have not added any team over last three decades. Therefore, the news that the officials of Pac-10 are considering about some additions and alterations of team has created a great hype. Though the officials have not declared the number of teams they would add in the Pac-10 conference, some sources indicated that they might consider about adding two teams at least. As per the reports, fans have also started predicting the name of different teams, which would receive the opportunity to play in this prestigious conference.
