Oakland Raiders suffered Jay Cutler’s strength and rocket arm to loose face and credence wit a defeat of 14-41. Cutler whose diabetes has been a threat to his career in the game now that his diabetes is under control he was the element that led a campaign that saw the Oakland Raiders smashed and demoralized to humility. Cutler threw for 300 yards with long touchdown passes to rookie Eddie Royal and Darrell Jackson that helped the Denver Broncos beat up on their AFC West rivals in a 41-14 victory over the Oakland Raiders on Monday night.
Oakland was red flagged for committing five personal fouls. The humbled pros were ready for every dirty trick they could to save face. The game was dominated by boos from a frustrated crowd that had grown all too used to this type of game. The Raiders have an NFL worst 19-62 record since 2004. Their manager has said it was a sham and that it is one game. Oakland is 0-1, whether they lost 7-6 or by 34 or whatever it was, they we’re 0-1.”
Oakland was beaten due to their simpleton game. They have been mastered and were beaten at their own game. One of the Denver Bronco players said that “You dream about it and you hope you can come out and play this well, but the main thing is we won,” Royal said. “It was a great feeling, especially in the stadium against our rivals. Our game plan was to attack. We knew we had a lot of weapons and Coach drew up a great game plan. We just wanted to keep the pressure on them.”
