Fans sitting in Canada’s Waterloo also have a lot to look forward to in the NYC Marathon as more than 50 runners from the region will be running alongside the Americans. The Canadians will be seen sporting green T-shirt to allow people to distinguish them from the other runners.

Cheryl Wilson, the trip organizer and runner, said that a large number of people showed interest in the NYC Marathon by participating in the Waterloo’s Runners’ Choice which was an 18-week training program. The runners did a lot of hill training to gear up for the NYC Marathon which will be a total 42km run.
