Mohali, Dec 20 (IANS) England off spinner Graeme Swann said Saturday the batsmen will have to put up a big score to make a match of the second cricket Test against India here.”We were lucky to get some wickets in the post-lunch session and managed well to bowl India out. Our batsmen will have to bat well and put up a big score,” Swann told reporters.

India were all out for 453 in the first innings with Gautam Gambhir scoring 179 and Rahul Dravid 136.

Swann, who made his debut in the first Test in Chennai, claimed three wickets in the first innings.

“If we look at the way India batted, we think we did a good job in containing them around 450 runs,” stated Swann.

On taking Sachin Tendulkar’s wicket, Swann said: “Tendulkar is a great player and holds an outstanding record in the world cricket. I am delighted to have his wicket in the match.”
