stanfordPalo Alto, Calif. Nov. 29, (THAINDIAN NEWS) The last match between Notre Dame and Stanford Cardinals showed some excellent team works and both the teams played some really good games. Though all the players played well, the ultimate result of the match went in favor of the Stanford Cardinals. After a strong competition throughout the game, the Cardinals won the match with a 45-38 score.

The defeat of Notre Dame in the last game against Stanford marked the end of Charlie Weis’ coaching career with Notre Dame team, as sources stated that the team might get a new coach. Mr. Weis has served the team as the head coach for almost five years but the team has not exhibited much praise worthy performance under him and the coach was criticized by many fans. The coach was disappointed after losing the match and sources stated that he was unwilling to make any comment to the media regarding the performance of the team in the match.

Several defeats of the Notre Dame team has not only made the coach upset but also disappointed the players of the Notre Dame team. The offense tried to play a good game against the Stanford team but their defense line up was not strong enough to restrict the score of Stanford players and they finally lost the game. Though the coach has been blamed for the performance of the team in this season, the players were disheartened to know that a new coach might replace Mr. Weis. Golden Tate, who played a good game against Stanford said, “It hurts, the thought that that might be the last time he coaches Notre Dame.”
