Notre Dame Fighting Irish Marrs USC Trojans’ Dreams

Notre DameNov 28, (THAINDIAN NEWS) Saturday night went in favor of the Notre Dame Fighting Irish who took a victory of 20-16 over the USC Trojans at the Coliseum. This has resulted in the first loss of the USC Trojans who had remained undefeated in the last nine games. The game was an exciting one as the result of the tough competition which both the teams had thrown on each other.

According to sources, USC Trojans coach Lane Kiffin has said that he will try to make up for the first season, as he is aiming for a victory next week over UCLA. The coach was indeed very disappointed as he made his way out of the stadium, saying that they had a tough time in the team’s locker room, regretting that they should have taken chances to send off the senior players since they had never lost out to Notre Dame Fighting Irish. The audience present to witness the game, said that the victory was very much unexpected since they had never in their wildest dreams thought that USC Trojans would lose out to the Notre Dame Fighting Irish.

The USC Trojans fans are having a tough time as is the whole team. This defeat had crushed all the hopes that the USC Trojans had harbored some weeks away of earning a 10 win season. This loss has resulted in dropping the Trojans to 7-5. USC Trojans quarterback Mitch Mustain had started off well making a fourth-down pass, but later on his final attempts got marred as it was hampered at the goal line, siding victory away from them. Notre Dame Fighting Irish has come up with an improved status raising them to 7-5 with their third back to back win.
