Feb 21, (THAINDIAN NEWS) Golfer Notah Begay, who was present at the press conference where disgraced golfer Tiger Woods apologized for his philandering ways, has revealed that he had never seen the World No.1 golfer get so emotional. Notah Begay, who is a close friend of the troubled golfer since his college days, was also one of the few people that Tiger Woods hugged after delivering what was probably the most difficult speech of his life.

In order to attend the much anticipated press conference and showcase his support for his troubled friend, the much acclaimed golfer decided to pull out of the US Tour event in Mexico. While reacting to the apologetic statement that Tiger Woods made at the news conference, Notah Begay added that delivering the speech was harder for the disgraced golfer than making a swing change. At the same time, the golfer also emphasized that Tiger Woods’ apology was so heartfelt and sincere, that it left him choked.

Notah Begay showcased his support for his close friend and also noted that the defamed golfer was taking the appropriate steps that were needed to address the issues that have been confronting his personal as well as professional life. However, according to the golfer, the criticism that the public apology of Tiger Woods has been receiving from some quarters is not really fair as the World No.1 golfer is trying desperately to get his life back on track.

Anticipation was running high about Tiger Woods’ press conference as this was his first public appearance since reports of his multiple extramarital affairs surfaced.
