New York, August 26 (ANI): Elin Nordegren’s first post divorce interview reflects her optimistic attitude, experts say.

They say she’s coping brilliantly with the betrayal heard around the world.

“It sounds like she’s handling it really, really well,” the New York Daily News quoted Rachel Sussman, a Manhattan marriage counselor, as saying.

“I’m impressed. I’m glad she came forward because I think she can be a role model.”

Sussman said it’s great that Nordegren wished the best for ex-hubby Tiger Woods and expressed hope she’d love again.

“I love the fact that she’s optimistic because she’s felt the benefits of love and one day she’d like to have that again,” said Sussman.

Diana Kirschner, a clinical psychologist, lauded Nordegren for wanting to reach the stage where she can forgive her cheating Tiger.

“It’s the healthiest road that one can take in this situation,” said Kirschner, author of “Love in 90 Days.”

“To work on forgiveness is critical. A lack of forgiveness is shown in research to cause the person who was cheated on more stress and health problems,” Kirschne added. (ANI)
