Nonito Donaire Thrashes Wladimir Sidorenko On World Boxing Association Bantamweight

Dec 5, (THAINDIAN NEWS) Filipino professional boxer Nonito Donaire ultimately thrashed his opponent Wladimir Sidorenko on Saturday night’s match of World Boxing Association (WBA) bantamweight. It was an interesting bout to watch as both the players kept no stones unturned to win this coveted title. Nonito Donaire stopped his opponent in the fourth round and came out strong scoring a knockdown right before the first round ended.
The Filipino boxer dominated the ring from the first round and he even kept an upper-hand in the second round as well with his harsh punches. The Ukrainian player Wladimir Sidorenko did not give in and tried to hit Nonito Donaire hard but the Filipino player outclassed him. It was in the fourth round that the things went worse and Wladimir Sidorenko’s face was all smeared with blood. The referee immediately stopped the bout and called Nonito Donaire as the winner. Marcos Rosales, the referee of the match stopped the fight at 1:48 of the fourth round.
In his interview after the bout Nonito Donaire told a reputed media source that both the contenders worked hard for the fight. However, the winner said that he was motivated before the start of this fight and he feels he can dominate anyone when he is 100% towards his work. The Filipino boxer said that he felt that he could defeat his Ukrainian foe anytime with just a punch. However, he said that he respects Wladimir Sidorenko for such wonderful competition. However, regarding the knockout, Nonito Donaire said that it was his best performance as a fighter. Nonito Donaire will now play with world champion Fernando Montiel in the next showdown fight on February 19.
