Non-Muslim Brit boys detained for not praying to Allah
July 5th, 2008 - 4:54 pm ICT by ANI ( 3 comments ) London, July 5 (ANI): Two twelve-year-old non-Muslim boys were placed under detention on Friday for refusing to pray to Allah.
The boys angry parents said that their children were also ordered to don Islamic headgear, kneel and pour water over their feet.
A female teacher, who ordered the boys to pray to Allah during a religious education lesson at Alsager High School in Cheshire, is now facing an inquiry, the Sun reports.
The grandfather of one of the boys said: If Muslims were asked to go to church and take Holy Communion there would be war.
The mothers of the two children — Sharon Luinen and Karen Williams expressed their outrage over the incident, and said it was not right to punish children for not wanting to join in Muslim prayers.
Cheshire County Council spokesman Ian Callister said: Inquiries are being made. (ANI)

I think the teacher was wrong and needs to be punished, like being banned from teaching. Teaching religion and making one practice it are quite different. NO ONE, has the right to make you practice religion. CF

This is absolutely disgusting. Sack her from teaching for life, make an example of her. This country does not allow the proliferation of this absolute garbage.
If the reverse happened in a Muslim country, they would have executed the teacher. Muslims are a complete bunch of hypocrites destroying every country they populate.
Islam is an extreme religion itself. If you’re unsure about that then remember about the teacher letting a child name a teddy bear mohammed without purposely meaning an insult, and the Danish cartoons which were just a bit of fun. To riot over something so insignificant is a perfect example!
Churchill noted that Islam was a barbaric idealogy potentially just as dangerous as the Nazis

I know that the teacher should not have forced the students into praying just like the muslims, however it is not right to make cartoons of other religions or do any such thing like that because no other religion would like it would you? even if it is a joke, the state of that country would be like Iraq, but don’t forget only if the country possesses oil or gold. Cos there isn’t any point otherwise is there?
I also believe that Christianity and other such reliigions are much more barbaric and an image of the Nazis not mentioning the americans in Iraq. I don’t know what there are doing there since it has got nothing to do with them, apart from the oil, oh and don’t forget the fact that they are forcing many innocent people to convert into Christianity if they don’t then its between life and death.
