No breakthrough in Rs.7.6 million bank loot case

Raipur, Oct 7 (IANS) No arrests were made till Thursday in the daring daylight robbery case in Chhattisgarh’s Raipur town where six robbers looted a ICICI bank branch Monday of Rs.7.6 million - in the view of CCTVs which recorded the entire incident.

“There are four faces clearly visible on the CCTV footage out of the total six robbers but arrests are yet to be made. Police are committed to apprehend all those who executed the daring loot,” Raigarh’s Superintendent of Police Rahul Sharma told IANS over phone.

He said police have managed some leads about locations of the people who looted the bank and they will soon be tracked down.

Six armed men stormed into a ICICI branch in Raigarh Monday, locked a few customers and staff in a room before looting the cash and escaping.
