Nnamdi Asomugha’s status is yet to be decided because of his knee injuryNovember 25th, 2011 - 7:40 pm ICT by Aishwarya Bhatt
Philadelpia, Nov 25 (THAINDIAN NEWS) The Eagles’ season suffered another setback when Nnamdi Asomugha was stretched off the practice on Thanksgiving. The team says they will carry out tests on the player and decide if he will feature against the New England Patriots on Sunday.
Though Nnamdi seemed to be in so much pain after collapsing on the turf, team officials say he does not seem to be in danger of staying on the injury list. There was no contact at all when Nnamdi fell and the officials say he might have “tweaked” his left knee.
The Eagles will have their last full practice session on Friday. The team will then face the Patriots in a game which will shape their season. Cornerback Joselio Hanson believes that Nnamdi should be able to practice with the team
Hanson said that, “It looked bad, but I think they said he’s going to be all right. So I’m expecting him to come back (today) and practice.”
When he was asked where he got his information from, Hanson shrugged and said that, “I hope so. I talked to some people and they said it may not have been as bad as it looked. So I’m hoping for the best. That’s what I mean when I say he’s going to come out tomorrow.”
The Eagles have been very disappointing this season having a record of 4-6-0.
