New York, Mar 15, (THAINDIAN NEWS) Following the release of NCAA Basketball Tournament Bracket 2010 list, NIT Basketball Tournament had its NIT Bracketology 2010 featured in NIT selection show by ESPN.As we all know, the National Invitational Basketball Tournament shall comprise of 32 basketball teams- all battling it out for the final championship round that is due to be held on April 1st,the venue being the legendary Madison Square Garden. This is one mega platform for all college basket ball teams to depict the very best of their skills. Reportedly, Florida Gators will be participating and the other two teams namely the Ole Miss Rebels and the Mississippi State Bulldogs shall play in NIT. According to The 2010 NIT Bracketology Selection show, it has been announced that the tournament will start off from March 16.

The first round of the tournament ends on March 17, soon to be followed by a second round that shall commence from March 18 and shall last till March 22. March 23 & 24 are slotted for the quarter finals while semifinals shall be held on March 30. The title game shall take place at the Madison Square Gardens on April 1. Quite regrettably Arizona, UCLA, Connecticut, North Carolina and Indiana failed to get their names secured in the NCAA tournament.

UConn (17-15) will be battling it out against the Northeastern (20-12) in one of the very first round of the tournament. March 16 shall witness quite a few number of big matches that includes North Carolina vs William and Mary followed by South Florida and NC state. Troy battles it out against Mississippi while Jacksonville will take on Arizona States.
