New York, Oct 18 (THAINDIAN NEWS) The NFL has announced that they will not fine coaches Jim Schwartz and Jim Harbaugh. The two coaches had a nasty confrontation last Sunday at the game between the Detroit Lions and San Francisco 49ers. The incident happened at the end of the game which ended 25-19 in favor of the 49ers.

Following their win, 49ers coach Harbaugh went to Lions’ Schwartz to give him a handshake but the action generated into a scuffle which the other players also joined in.

A spokesperson of the NFL, Greg Aiello, told reporters on Monday that, “Fortunately, there was no fighting and thus no basis for a fine. However, both coaches told (NFL executive VP) Ray Anderson today that their postgame conduct was wrong and will not happen again. We believe their response is the correct one and that their postgame conduct going forward will be more appropriate.”

For admitting that their actions were wrong, the game’s ruling body has decided that they will not be fined for what they did.

Schwartz admitted that both coaches were carried away by the occasion but he hinted that they have sorted out their differences. He said they spoke in the tunnel and hope they will be speaking again when they meet another time.
