NFL Scores: Week 1

New York, Sept 12 (THAINDIAN NEWS) The Saints got off to the worst start of the NFL season when they were beaten by visiting Packers 34-42. The game was predicted to be a very tight one and that is exactly how it turned out to be.

The Ravens picked vital victory at the Steelers on Week 1 of the NFL season. They won the game 35-7 away from home making them one of the best starters this season. The Bengals handled the Browns properly, beating them 27-17 in their first game of the season.

The Texans picked a big win away from home when they beat the Colts 34-7. The chiefs were not that fortunate away from home. They were crushed 41-7 when they played against the Bills. With two games set to take place later on Monday, the Bills have recorded the biggest win so far in Week 1 of the season.

The game between the Lions and the Buccaneers were closely fought. Taking advantage of their home turf, the Lions picked the game with a 27-20 win. The Eagles did the same thing when they beat the Rams 31-13 at home. The Falcons were not that fortunate and lost their Week 1 home game to the Bears. The game ended 12-30.

The Jaguars accounted for the Titans away from home when they beat them 16-14. The Redskins won their away game at the Giants 28-14. The 49ers were away winners at the Seahawks. The game ended 17-33.

In the last three games that took place on Sunday, the Vikings failed to win at home. The Chargers beat them 24-17 while the Cardinals won 28-21 at the Panthers. The Cowboys lost with the last kick of the game. With the game tied at 24 and the clock counting down from the 1 minute mark, the home fans were left heartbroken when the Jets won the game 27-24.
