NFL Quarterback Steve McNair dead

Steve LaTreal McNair Former NFL quarterback Steve LaTreal McNair has been shot to death in Nashville, Tennessee, aged 36.

Details on the incident are not known, however it has been reported that McNair suffered a single gunshot wound to the head and an unidentified female victim was also found dead at the scene.

McNair was born in Mount Olive, Mississippi, and drafted by the Houston Oilers third overall in the 1995 NFL Draft after playing college football at Alcorn State.

As a quarterback in the National Football League he was known by the nickname Air McNair and in 1998, set career passing highs with 492 attempts, 289 completions, 3,228 yards and 15 touchdowns for the Oilers.

McNair was selected to the Pro Bowl three times and was the Co-AP NFL MVP in 2003.

    I guess no one fact checks. McNair played for Tennesee and Baltimore.

    Condolesences to his family and friends. Got to watch him for 2 years in Baltimore and we will all miss him!
