Washington, Sept 21 (THAINDIAN NEWS) The current NFL season is just two weeks old but some teams have made their intentions clear. Right on the start of the season about a fortnight ago, some of the big traditional teams stepped on the gas and have not looked back since then.

The New England Patriots have won two out of two and they are in a very good position to go all the way in the season. By virtue of their points, the Patriots are on top of the Power Rankings for Week 3. Super Bowl Champions Green Bay Packers have started the season on a very good note. After winning two out of two, the team has been placed at the second position.

The Detroit Lions are third of the rankings. The team demolished the Kansas City Chiefs 48-3 on week 2. The performance has given them the necessary recognition for the season and they have gained the status of a team to watch out for. The New York Jets have also won two out of two and their last win against the Jags was more impressive than their opening game.

At the wrong side of the table is the Chiefs whose defense has been giving opposing teams free points this season. The team has by far given the worst performance in the current season.
