breetOct 11, (THAINDIAN NEWS) It seems unlikely that the Brett Favre-Jenn Sterger controversy is going to die down any time soon as the National Football League has undertaken a thorough investigation into the scandal to ascertain whether the Minnesota Vikings quarterback is indeed guilty of sending lewd texts messages and photos to former New York Jets employee Jenn Sterger. NFL commissioner Roger Goodell revealed to the media over the weekend that the league is looking into the seriousness of the allegations that have been leveled against the star quarterback.

While talking to reporters at the Chargers-Raiders game that was held in Oakland on Sunday, the NFL commissioner confirmed the reports that the league had indeed initiated a probe in the photo scandal involving Brett Favre and Jenn Sterger. At the same time, Roger Goodell also went on to say that during the course of the investigation, NFL is making sure that it understands the facts associated with the controversy in the proper light. However, as of now it still remains unclear whether Jenn Sterger is cooperating with the NFL officials with regard to the investigation. It has been reported that if the former New York Jets employee confirms the allegations against Brett Favre then the league would speak to the 41-year-old star quarterback about the matter.

The investigation into the matter was launched after a website published a video late last week that alleged that Brett Favre had sent inappropriate text messages and pictures to Jenn Sterger when the noted player played for the New York Jets for a single season.
