San Francisco, Nov.13, (THAINDIAN NEWS) Fans of American football watched the match between Chicago Bears and San Francisco 49ers that was scheduled on Thursday night. This match was important for both the teams as it determined their chances of qualifying in the playoff rounds. None of the teams displayed good form in the earlier matches of the season and were struggling for a win. Though both the teams needed to win the match, they could not manage a good start. Neither the Chicago Bears nor the San Francisco 49ers could score points in the first quarter of the match. However, with the progress of the match, San Francisco 49ers took a lead on the Chicago Bears and won the match.

Chicago Bears made several attempts to score points and get a lead but could not succeed. Though they had a good defense, their offense line up failed to perform well in the match and the final score of the match read 10-6, giving 49ers the victory they needed to keep their hopes alive in the series.

The result of the match could have been different if the Bears’ offense had played well and Jay Cutler had not missed the scoring opportunities in the match. Cutler had thrown five interceptions in the match and could not save the team from the defeat against the San Francisco 49ers. He appeared to be quite disappointed with the way he had performed in the match and was sorry for his performance. After the match, Cutler said, “I have to apologize to the defense, and the offense as a whole has to apologize.”
