Feb 2, (THAINDIAN NEWS) New York Yankees player Nick Swisher created quite a buzz last night when he appeared on the popular American sitcom “How I Met Your Mother” which was aired on CBS on Monday night. All his fans were in for a treat as the much acclaimed player was seen playing himself on the latest episode of the fifth season of the television show.

Anticipation had been running high about the latest episode since it came to light that the 29 year old New York Yankees outfielder would be making his television appearance in the widely watched sitcom. As expected, the episode managed to receive huge viewership and at the same time also turned out to be highly entertaining for all the regular viewers of the popular show.

Meanwhile, the episode also grabbed many eyeballs as along with Nick Swisher, the viewers also witnessed the presence of Jim Nantz, the well known CBS Sports Broadcaster.

The latest episode which was titled “The Perfect Week”, focuses on the character of Barney, who is about to conclude the best week by going around with seven different females on seven days. However, his pursuit is obstructed when the New York Yankees player walks into the bar playing himself and invariably catches the fancy of every single female present at the bar. The episode with its elements of emotions and comedy surely managed to win the hearts of the large number of viewers who had tuned in to watch the much anticipated episode.

“How I Met Your Mother” is a popular show on CBS that premiered in the year 2005 and since then has gained immense popularity.
