Indianapolis, Jan 9, (THAINDIAN NEWS) It was a dream come true for Rex Ryan after the New York Jets ousted the Indianapolis Colts on Saturday night to reach the AFC semifinals. The game came up with some of the most scintillating shots from the Jets as they fought hard to notch the victory from the Colts by a score of 17-16. Those present at the Lucas Oil Stadium, Indianapolis witnessed how both the teams battled each other to make their way ahead for the semis. However, the day belonged to the Jets whose Nick Folk added the ultimate boost to the much needed victory.
The New York Jets were already leading with a 14-10 when only 9:59 minutes were left for the game to end. The Colts were desperately searching for an opportunity to be able to deliver a shot against the rivals. Tension gripped every one as the final time neared. At this very moment, 50 yard goal was delivered by Adam Vinatieri leading Indianapolis Colts to think that they has successfully done the massacre to the Jets. The Colts kicker shot up the game with only 57 seconds left. It was a perfect combination of both fear and excitement as the audience’s mind were thoroughly perplexed as anything could happen as this point.
As Nick Folk delivered the perfect 32 yard goal, Rex Ryan’s joy surpassed every limit. The head coach of the New York Jets knew no limits to his joy as his boys had fulfilled his dream of beating the Indianapolis Colts. After last night’s victory, the New York Jets will now be facing the much despised New England Patriots next weekend at Foxborough.
