jetsJan 4, (THAINDIAN NEWS) The New York Jets won the final playoffs against the Cincinnati Bengals in the game that was held on Jan. 3. The game was the final one in the regular season. This win makes the fifth of the six games for the New York Jets in this season. The two teams, New York Jets and the Cincinnati Bengals, will again come face to face in the American Football Conference, the first round of the playoffs for which will take place next week. The game last night was held at the historic Meadowlands Stadium.

The victory of the New York Jets had somewhat been predicted, despite that fact that they had been pitted against a team that holds the no.4 position in the NFL, and also holds the record of being a division champion. Added to that, the Cincinnati Bengals also have the advantage of being the second best defense in the NFL. They had managed to beat the Baltimore Ravens and the Pittsburgh Steelers this year by a very huge margin. On the other hand, the New York Jets are ranked no.5 in the NFL, but they are also considered to be one of the toughest teams in the league.

In fact, with the win last night against the Cincinnati Bengals, the New York Jets managed to secure the position of the no.1 team as per rushing offense, and also the numero uno in the overall defense category. As Rex Ryan of the team commented, it had been a really easy game for them, especially considering the fact that the entire team managed to put up an outstanding performance.
