“We are now a genuinely strong midfield team, but we have got plans to be even better: I have seen the plans for this year and it looks positive. Sutil made his debut with the team in 2007 helped Force India scored its first points in 2009. Last year the team finished seventh in the constructors championship and Sutil was 11th in the drivers’ standings.

The German feels his goals matches with the team.
“We have made some good progress and I am excited to be part of the team when it takes the next step, which is hopefully to become a front running team. We have the same ambitions so it makes a lot of sense to achieve them together,” he said.
The 18th race of the season will be the inaugural Indian Grand Prix in New Delhi and Sutil is excited about competing the team’s home race.
“Have been to India several times with the team and have seen how the team and F1 are getting bigger and bigger. There is now a real fan following and they have got behind the team.
