louisiana_superdomeJan 25, (THAINDIAN NEWS) The win of the New Orleans Saints against Minnesota Vikings in Sunday’s game made the fans jubilant. The fans went berserk with excitement and they poured out in the streets from the Superdome. After all, the team managed to win its first Super Bowl. The fate of the NCG championship game was decided by the field goal of Garrett Hartley. Such an important game is bound to be noisy as the fans of both teams kept the cheering on in high scale. In fact the Minnesota Viking fans are known for cheering their team by shouting at the top of their voice. On Sunday’s game they did the same but the fans of the opponent team matched them well enough. The noise level became exceptionally high and touched triple digits.

The Superdome was the ideal place to create some deafening noise. The fans of the New Orleans Saints outnumbered the Vikings and the team won after a tough fight. The game was aired live by Fox network and a meter was shown that displayed the noise level at 102 decibel. It was exceptionally high. For instance, when a person hears walkman at highest level, the noise level equals 100 decibel. Since the game was held in the Superdome which is an enclosed structure, the noise level shot to such heights. Hearing experts think that people may receive damage to their eardrums if they are exposed to such high decibel noise for long.

The Minnesota Viking fans adjusted their earplugs to cope up with the noise. However, the team lost out despite getting full co-operation and support from the fans.
