Ali juniors lighting fast reflexes and strong punches in the ring has seen him win all of last 14 fights, and now, after having the Royal Navy Schools Championship belt under his name, is on course to becoming the second Muhammad Ali to be crowned heavyweight champion of the world.
Ali is my hero. I grew up watching his fights on video and I would love to achieve what he did. He was so quick for a heavyweight and I am working as hard as I can to be like him. He really was the greatest, The Sun quoted Ali, as saying.
This new boxing sensation started training at his local gym at the age of eight, and now has developed skills that amaze even the current biggies on the game.
I think weve got something special here. The kid is certainly a prospect and a half. He has no nerves and his energy is unbelievable. Its certainly going to take a good fighter to beat him, Alis coach, Keith Tate said.
Alis father, Shahid drives a taxi for his living has high hopes for his son.
Shahid, a huge fan of Muhammad Ali, said he wants his son to become as famous as the former great, and with the raw talent this kid has showcased in the recent past he may repeat history by becoming the youngest boxer to win an Olympic Gold. (ANI)
