Provo, Nov 9 (THAINDIAN NEWS) New Mexico soccer player Elizabeth Lambert has become an Internet celebrity for all the wrong reasons, as she has been suspended following her atrocious behavior on the field.
Junior defender Elizabeth Lambert was suspended on Friday for her despise able actions the day before in the semi final battlefield. Elizabeth Lambert is seen in the video from the infamous game punching elbows, colliding without reason with many players and then pulling the ponytail of a BYU player who subsequently went down to the ground.
Needless to say the video has become famous on the Internet, as people all over the world have viewed it. It shows Elizabeth Lambert’s aggressive side in all its infamous glory.
Lambert made a public apology for her actions, “I let my emotions get the best of me in a heated situation. I take full responsibility for my actions and accept any punishment felt necessary,” she said.
