New Mexico Soccer: Elizabeth Lamberts Gets Suspended

Nov. 8, (THAINDIAN NEWS) Name of one more player gets added to the list of players who were suspended from the game for their rough performances. Elizabeth Lambert, the defender of the women soccer team of New Mexico will not be seen in the upcoming matches of the team as she has got suspended for exhibiting a performance which lacked sportsmanship. In a recent match against BYU, she was found attacking the player of the opponent team and hauled one of the players by catching her pony tail. This type of action has offended the team and led to her suspension for an indefinite period.
Kit Vela, the coach of New Mexico team on Friday declared that Elizabeth Lambert will not be able to participate in the conditioning, practices or matches of the team. Vela made a statement declaring, “Liz is a quality student-athlete, but in this instance her actions clearly crossed the line of fair play and good sportsmanship.” Lambert’s performance in the game noticed during the match got highlighted in the video of the match in which she was found kicking, punching and using several unfair means.
In the seventy-sixth minute of the match, the referee had shown Elizabeth Lambert the yellow card after she was found tripping. However, that did not stop her from playing in an unfair manner and led to her suspension for an indefinite span. Though Elizabeth Lambert was suspended, she has gained huge popularity over the internet. New Mexico could not win the match against the BYU but has received attention of people for the negative attitude of their player.

i find it very disturbing for a coach to praise her players of rough play. it is dispicable and the coach should be suspended as well.
