New Gunners owner Kroenke may open purse strings for Wenger

London, Apr. 12 (ANI): With Arsenal not winning a trophy since 2005, new owner Stanley Kroenke is hoping that coach Wenger will use the 40 million pounds available to strengthen the squad.
According to Sun Sport Kroenke, 63, is determined to take the club to new success.
Wenger said: “I have worked with Stan Kroenke over the past couple of years and I believe he has the best interests of Arsenal at heart.”
He added: “He understands the club’s heritage and traditions and our ambition to run the club in a way which protects our long-term future.”
Kroenke has stated that he’s supportive of a self-sustaining business model. (ANI)
