Nov 7, (THAINDIAN NEWS) Cam Newton is certainly going through a mental turbulence due to the NCAA investigation that is being conducted. It has been alleged that he had attempted to extort money from a Mississippi State. It was alleged that Kenny Rogers, a former Mississippi State Bulldogs player, asked for money or bribes, during the recruitment of quarterback Cam Newton. However, despite all the legal doldrums, he continued to show the usual spark on the field. That is the reason why Auburn Tigers won against the Chattanooga, with a whopping score of 62-34.
Cam Newton made an amazing score of his career with four touch downs and running 317 yards. He scored this in the first seventeen minutes of the game that had actually set the perfect base for his team and secured its position till the end. All through out the game, his team combined to run 628 yards on only 54 different plays. To his fans, it would be more interesting to see whether he would be able to maintain the poise all through out the disturbing investigation against him. After the game, the players and the coach of Auburn Tigers refused to give any status updates regarding the NCAA investigation. Brad Franchione, his coach in junior college believes that all these allegation against him are false and he knows Cam Newton’s family personally. According to him, they are humble and modest family, who are unnecessarily being subjected to such legal turmoil.
However, it was good to see that he maintained his consistency all throughout the game and the allegation facilitated a fiery performance from the player. His coach says that if he continues to play this way, then no one can stop him from being the most competent player for the Heisman trophy.
