NCAA Hockey Tournament 2010 Knocking At The Door

New York, March 22, (THAINDIAN NEWS) On March 21 the qualifying teams for the NCAA Hockey Tournament 2010 were declared. It has been declared that the tournament will begin on March 26 and the final game according to reports is scheduled for April 10. The final game will be held at Detroit.
Denver, Miami-Ohio, Boston College and Wisconsin are the top seeded teams in the NCAA Hockey Tournament 2010. Team Alaska is also scheduled to make its debut in this year’s Hockey tournament. It will become the 50th school to have be qualified for the tournament. Some of the teams who would play in the 16 college tournament are Boston College, Rochester Institute of Technology, Cornell College, New Hampshire, Vermont, Northern Michigan, St. Cloud State, North Dakota, and Alabama- Huntsville.
The single game elimination tournament will see the players battling out on the field to get the final trophy. NACC is considered to be one of the most popular hockey tournament and this year too fans are hoping to see some exciting hockey games played on the field. The defending champion Boston university fans are hopeful that this year too their team will come up with flying colors. The games will be first played at the regional level. The group divisions which have been made are like East Regional, West Regional, Mid West Regional, and North East Regional. The regional finals are scheduled for Mar 27 and Mar 28. After the regional games finals, the Frozen Four will compete for the ultimate trophy. The semifinals of the Frozen Four are scheduled for April 8 which will be followed by the National Championship game two days later on April 10.
