For the unveiling ceremony for Nike Air Max, the Cavaliers’ superstar was present at the venue himself, along with the series designer Jason Petrie. In the course of the ceremony, it was announced that the latest collection, brought about through a collaboration with the star player, is the lightest product that has been introduced from the LeBron stable ever. It is said to make excellent use of the Nike Flywire technology, used in the uppers, so as to provide all the required comforts. Also notable is the presence of such elements as the Max Air cushion air bags, that form the inside lining (a new feature of tuned Air unit that has been created for basketball).

The other announcements made during the ceremony highlighted the packed schedule of a 10 city world tour to take place soon enough, in order to introduce the shoe. The shoe is set for an official release date on October 24th this year. It is priced at $160 approx. The shoes will also be available in a wide range of attractive colors.

About his designs Jason Petrie said, “When designing the Nike Air Max LeBron VII, we envisioned a shoe that was both strong and comfortable. We delivered a shoe that is perfect combination of superior performance and luxurious style, embodying LeBron himself.”
