starArlington, Feb 15, (THAINDIAN NEWS) The halftime show of the NBA All-Star game turned out to be a visual treat. Featuring two of the most popular pop divas, Shakira and Alicia Keys, the show turned out to be almost as eagerly watched as the rest of the game itself. Another major attraction in the show was the R & B artist Usher, whose performance was possibly one of the most eagerly watched. However, he had not only performed in the halftime show, but also at the beginning of the game.

By many, the show is being compared to the performance of the band “The Who”, who appeared at the halftime show of the Super Bowl. The halftime show at the NBA All-Star game was kicked off by the Colombian sensation Shakira. Her performance was off to a wonderful start, with the singer emerging from a panel of smoke, rising out of the stage, locked in a cage. She kicked off her performance with the title track of her latest chart topper album, “She Wolf,” following it up with some more numbers from the same album.

Alicia Keys came on stage to perform a set of three songs. As was expected, she sang the massive hit from 2007, “No One,” one of the biggest hits of her career. She then followed up that performance with two more songs that are featured in her latest album, “The Element of Freedom.” Usher performed the song “Yeah.” Before that, in the beginning of the game, he had performed his famous song “More,’ which is definitely one of the biggest hits of his career.
